Magnetic tape system: 


                                                         Magnetic Tape system consists of plastic tape coated with a magnetic substance. The magnetic tape is not used for everyday storage applications because of its sequential-access method. it is still used for business data archiving and backup. Most computer tapes today are in the from of cartridge tapes:

 Computer tapes are read by tape drive and can be an internal or an external place of hardware. Tape drive contain one or more read\write heads over which the tape passes and the tape. Tape cartridge capacity varies widely from 500 MB to more than 1TB PER CARTRIDGE.

                          A smart card is a small card of plastic that contains computer circuit and  component such as a processor memory and storage. smart card can store a small amount of data up to 64 KB that can be used for payment or identification purposes.

    Smart card are also commonly used for national and student ID cards credit or debit cards etc. They are also used to store identification data for accessing computer networks. The processor in a smart card can perform computations to authenticate the card and encrypt the data on the card to protect its integrity and secure it against unauthorized access.
