Features of Display  Devices:

                                                                              Display devices can be distinguished on the basis of the following features:


Size and Aspect Ratio: 

                                    

                                          Display screen are measured diagonally form corner to corner. Display Screen are available in various sizes. Desktop computer monitors range form 17 to 30 inches but the large one are available form special purpose. Table screen are between 7 and 10 inches. Most current display are wide screen which means they use a 16.9 aspect ratio similar to widescreen televisions. 

Color:

           

               The   display devices can be monochrome or color. the color display screen output in multiple colors. the color display screen also called RGB monitors. The RGB display screen can create 256 colors and thousands of variations of these colors. 

      Monochrome display screen show images in a single color usually white green blue red and amber. The number of shades of one color that the monitor can display is referred to as gray-scale.

Resolution :

                    

                   Resolution is an important characters of any display device. the number of pixels displayed on screen is called screen resolution. A higher screen resolution display more information than a lower screen resolution but everything appears smaller. 

            resolution determines the amount of information that can be display at one time. it display a total of 144000 pixels to create a screen images. 

Refresh Rate:

                        

                        The refresh rate is the speed with which a monitor redraw the images on screen. The images on the screen appear more phosphors hold their glow for fraction of a screen. The refresh rate should be at least solid common monitors have refresh rates between 74 and 85 Hz.
