Difference between Soft and Hard copy

 Difference  between Soft and Hard Copy:

                                                                          The difference between input and output device is as follows:

   Soft Copy:

                       Soft copy is in electronic form.

it is easer to modify.

it is intangible.

it is stored on storage device.

its duplicate copies can be produced without any cost.

 

Hard Copy:

                        Hard copy is in printed form.

it is difficult to modify. 

it is tangible.

it is printed on papers.

its duplicated copies can be produced with cost.

 

Types of Output :

     Different types of output are as follows:

Text 

          Text includes character used to create words sentences and paragraphs letters announcements brochures and newsletters are example of text. 

Graphics 

                  Graphics output includes drawings charts and photograph. some graphic appear on websites use audio for more effective output. 

video 

           Video is a set of full motion images played at high speed. it may also includes audio

Output:

               The hardware components that are used to receive information form the computer are called output devices. Output devices take information form the computer and converts it in a form that is understandable by the users.

 

Display Device :

                              A display or display is an output device that display text graphic and video. the output displayed by a display devices is called soft copy. some displays have touch screens display devices are available in a wide variety of size.
