Usesof computers in Manufacturing

 

       computers are widely used in manufacturing. They are used to design the product and  automation of manufacturing process. The computer aided design (CDA) is the use of computer and graphics software to create product design. The computer-aided manufacturing (CAD) is the use of computers to plan and manage the production operation.

                The robots are frequently used in CAM environment. Robots are used to control many complex tasks. A robots are used in different manufacturing industries to carry out different processes. For example the cars are assembled by computer-controlled robots. It allows to manufacture a large number of items without any break and using less number of people.

           Uses of computers in Medical field:

Hospital Administration:

                                                           Hospital is an important organization . computer can be use for the administration of a hospital. The accounting/ payroll and stock system of the hospital can be computerized. computer can be use to keep the record of different medicines and use in different ward etc. 

Recording medical history:

         computer can use to store medical history of patients. it may include important facts about the patients such as past treatment/ suggested  medicines and their results. The systems can be very effective and helpful for the doctors. 

3.Monitoring Systems

        some serious patients must be monitored continuously. monitoring is needed especially in operation and theatres and intensive care units. Many computerized devices used the blood pressure / heartbeat and brain of the patients.

4. Life Support Systems;

                                                  Life support systems are used to help disabled persons. Many devices help the deaf persons to hear. scientists are trying to created to device that will help the blind person to see. 

5. Diagnosis of Diseases:

                                                          Different software are available that store different diseases and their symptoms. diagnosis of diseases  is possible by entering the symptoms of a patient. Many computerized devices are used in laboratories for different tests of blood etc. 

Use of computer in Defense:

        computer is widely used in defense field. The modern weapons and missile systems and guided by computer. The missile systems uses GPS system and computer to find it targets. The computer is also used to control the aircraft without pilot and drones.
